Hi, I've been lurking here for months and have decided to join.

I live in Michigan, Grand Rapids area, and just adopted my boy Garth last June. He's 4 yrs. old and looks like he did his racing in Hollywood and Miami, Florida. Though the adoption agency got him from Dairyland racetrack in Kenosha, WI.

BTW, his racing name is Do's Iceman.

Your pup is extremely handsome. I have never seen that particular coloring before. He's magazine cover material!

From Wisconsin -- It's Nancy, Bob, Carla, June Bug and our newby Skorch.... along with Buffy. She's the little hound that meows.

With loving memorials to K.C., Barko and Major Turn -- all playing at the bridge.

Congratulations on your beautifull pup. I spent a week in Grand Rapids a couple of years ago and found it to be a beautiful, clean city. I enjoyed walking around looking at the architecture of the buildings. Amazing!

Good luck with your dog.

Thanks for all the kind words. My wife and I and our 13 yr old weim picked him out. He was the best looking dog there. He was also the most calm and did not upset our weim. They get along really well. Though, Garth (or Garthzilla because of his size) can get a little pushy.

Welcome!!

Your new boy really does have unique markings! Really beautiful!

Just checked your pup's pedigree on the Greyhound Database. It appears that one of my boys (Stuey-formerly Ww Free Nash), is a half brother to Garthzilla! Stu's markings (though different from your new pup) are also a little unusual... We refer to him as ash-brindle. Sorry for rambling.
