Guest 2greytdogs Posted November 11, 2006 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Hi there! My name is Rachelle, first-time greymom to Hoss (7, fawn boy) and Bud (4, black and white boy). I adopted Hoss in early September, and will finalize my adoption of Bud this weekend after having him for 2 weeks as a foster. (I knew after the first night that he was a keeper!) We live in Ankeny, Iowa. I decided to adopt a second after experiencing some SA issues with Hoss early on. After trying many of the textbook tricks for SA with no success, the president of our adoption group suggested I try fostering a second to see if it would help. Sure enough, it did! My foster was soon adopted and I began the search for my permanent second. Bud had just come off of the track and was a dreamboat boy - just like my Hoss.
