Denise Posted October 23, 2006 Author Share Posted October 23, 2006 I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. I miss my sweet little girl so much, but I know I did the right thing to let her go and not let her suffer. I promised her 8 months ago when she was so sick then, that I would not be selfish - I would let her go. We had a glorious 8 extra months together. Now my heart hurts so deeply missing all the silly things she did. Sarah brought such joy in my life. I feel so lucky I was the one to adopt her and give her a forever home. Thank you all for caring. Denise Posted October 25, 2006 Author Share Posted October 25, 2006 I am so touched by all you who offer your support to me. I find comfort in your kind words. My sweet Sarah will live forever in my heart. Today, we picked up Sarah's ashes. They presented me with a cast of her pawprint in the shape of a heart. I thought that was so appropriate - SArah is my heartdog forever. In certain ways, I feel comforted that Sarah is home now. I hold all my beautiful memories of Sarah close to me.
