Guest MaxAndMazy Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Copper - the Crazy RedBone Coone Hound was helped to the Rainbow Bridge by my sister and her hubby after a short battle with liver disease . My sister had very different ways of rearing doggies than us (they got her to help them hunt and barely payed attention to her), but that's now in the past. It was difficult to bond with her because she went nutty over any attention - bitting my ears and jumping all over... but there was something so cute about her. She had no 'greyt' manners so Max and Mazy wouldn't have anything to do with her. I remember falling asleep on their couch and waking up to this stinky red hound on top of me. As long as I wasn't awake she'd cuddle with me. As soon as I woke up and moved, she'd go for my ears again. So I layed still - just staring at this beautiful red creature sleeping and drooling on me. Goodbye Copper hunny - I know there is lots of love waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. BTW - Brandy (the **zoo) is not lunch and I'm sure she'll be a great friend to you. The greyhounds lay on the couch, watching these crazy dogs and laugh & laugh! The crazy dogs love putting on this show, and love making the greyhounds laugh.
