Guest tammymacb Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 I got an email this morning from Elaine of the Brittany Spaniel Rescue. Sunshine, who I sprung from the pound on her "put down day" was euthanized Tuesday. It seems she had gotten pneumonia and stopped eating, added with her heartworm, the vet decided she was too far gone. Even though I only knew her for a few days, I'm really sad about this. I had so invisioned a wonderful loving home for that girlie. I had celebrated her new future. She deserved to be loved. I feel really guilty now for sending her to the rescue also. I know their funds are limited and feel like maybe I could have helped her more. But, I didn't know and now it's too late. Run Free, Sunshine. I loved you and wanted the best for you.
