Your words describe eloquently how Omar came and opened your heart. Life and love are imperfect, and Omar (as all dogs do) understood that. He knew you loved him. Sometimes their signs are very subtle. I imagine he is very happy you are opening your heart and home to more hounds. In time, yes,you may think of him less often, but no less deeply. I know the feeling of 'guilt'...... good luck with your two new additions, how lucky for them to come to a family who will love them. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
