Guest paleostone Posted December 9, 2002 Share Posted December 9, 2002 I am beginning to shop around for a Manchester (a breed that is a lurcher by definition - cross of whippet and terrier) and sent an inquiry email to Canadian breeder. Gave her my background and she sent back that she had my dog Sonny in many of her pedigrees. (He was #1 Manchester Stud in 1985) She asked about him and I sent her a long email about what a wonderful show dog he was but also about what a funny, silly boy he was. Sure makes me miss him. Would love to have a little Sonny pup running around here again. Maybe next summer, she is planning a breeding for then. That is the one comfort I have as a breeder that yo'all dont have. I can recapture through a new puppy a bit of what I had before. A tilt of the head. a sense of humor etc. To even have back a bit of Sonny would be incredible Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
