Guest ArtofDetail Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 It is with a heavy heart I am writing this evening. One of our "Taters" Snowflake was diagnosed with Lymphoma at Christmas. This afternoon, he lost his fight as this dreaded disease took more out of him that he was able to keep up with. LPD Snowflake was 11 years 8 months old. I was blessed to have Snowy in my heart for 8 years. He will be forever in my heart and alive in my thoughts as long as I am alive. Snowy volunteered locally in Indianapolis for Greyhound Companions of Indiana and GPA Indy. His beautiful sweet loving attitude took the hearts of many and they were taken enough to adopt Greyhounds into their own families. Up until the last moment, Snowy was still filling my heart with love. I will miss him with every ounce of my being.
