Guest Garwood
Hi, Jeff. I have a question about video. When I copy and paste a youtube video, it embeds itself. Is this the way you want it? Would you rather have it posted as a link (blue line)? Doesn't matter to me.

jetcitywoman
What does it mean when I try to post an image to my gallery and it just gives me a white/blank screen? My picture is only 500K so I don't think it's a size problem. Is there any way that instead of a blank screen, it could give an error message or something to indicate what it doesn't like? Jeff
no idea. It may mean they your connection is slow and times out prior to completing. 500k is pretty big, but not huge. The white screen you see is not a function.

Guest kkaiser104
I have a Flickr account and I can't figure out how to post pictures! Everytime I try it says that the extension is not permitted on this forum. Do I not have enough posts to post pictures, or am I doing something wrong? jetcitywoman
I just started a Flickr account since the GT gallery isn't working, and I can't figure out how to post pics from Flickr either. I understand that the image has to end in .jpg. But should the whole url be simply an <img> tag? Or an <a href> with an img embedded in it? I've copied both from Flickr and the best I can get to display on the forum is the link. http://<a href="http://www.flickr.co...03/7511975266/" title="IMG_0126"><img src="http://farm9.staticf...06098be97c.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0126"></a> Edited July 6, 2012 by jetcitywoman Quote Sharon, Loki, Freyja, Capri (bridge angel and most beloved heart dog), Ajax (bridge angel) and Sweetie Pie (cat) Visit Hound-Safe.com by Something Special Pet Supplies for muzzles and other dog safety products
AnneGTS
The easiest way is to click on "share" on Flickr, choose "Grab the HTML/BBCode" and set it on BBCode. jetcitywoman
I tried that too. The part I can't figure out is the editor here. Do I click on the image button and paste in the bbcode? Or click on the link button and paste in the bbcode? Neither worked. Let me try again while I wait for a reply. image button: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8001/7511975266_06098be97c.jpg' alt='7511975266_06098be97c.jpg'> IMG_0126 by SharonConger, on Flickr[/img] link button: Oh, I see. I have to remove some of the extra code that Flickr puts into the link. That's not a problem, I can do that. Just a UI annoyance because in my opinion a button is supposed to be a one-click thing. I know that's the forum software, though, not a complaint about Jeff's management or configuration of Greytalk. Thanks!
