I just found out tonight that my family dog, who was 13, passed away suddenly this morning. To make a long story short, it turns out that Carmel had a brain tumor. It was very unexpected, but my parents woke up this morning and Carmel could not walk or get out of her bed. The emerg vet also thinks that she had had a seizure at some point in the night as well. The vet said there was nothing that could be done so my parents decided to put her to sleep. We're all very upset about it because it was so unexpected. Carmel was the greatest dog ever and we will miss her terribly. Please keep my parents in your thoughts and prayers....Carmel was my dad's best bud and he's going to be lost without her.
