Guest Iwasacatpurrson Posted October 2, 2005 Share Posted October 2, 2005 My Ditey (Aphrodite) went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. She was 13-1/2 and full of spunk until the last week when a stroke hit her. I knew with her being a senior that every day I had with her was a gift and as much as it hurts to lose her it was worth knowing she had a good home and was spoiled rotten the last few years of her life. She kept my other grey and my pug under control at all times, there was no playing in the house or running in the yard when she was around, although I've seen her run around the yard when she thought no one was looking. So we're all lost without our adult supervision. My heart is broken, but as I took her to the vet the last day, she looked at me the whole way, with those big brown eyes that said "I'm safe with you and you'll take care of me so I'm not scared anymore".
