The greys and I snuck off to meet family at a dog-friendly North Carolina beach at Thanksgiving. There was also a well-behaved lab, who was allowed off-leash on the beach but the greys were stuck to my nieces by leash outside and on the sofa inside. We all had a greyt time. The dogs slept for 2 days when we returned; they're not as young as they used to be. I took off 2 more days from work when I got back so I could get virus-tested. Took Rocky to the beach this past weekend and he had a BLAST! One thing he really wasn't sure of was going into water that was above his shoulders, which I am assuming is because he doesn't know how to swim. I've read a few articles saying that Greyhounds have a difficult time learning how to swim, this made me wonder if anyone has had luck teaching their dog how to swim. Any suggestions or input?
