  1. I tried doing a search of old threads and on Google but couldn't find much on this specific question - I want to give my new rescue a dose of Frontline, but I have heard that he should get a bath first. Then again I have also heard that you should not bathe a dog more than 2-3 days before applying Frontline. What do you do? Could I apply Frontline tomorrow or even tonight (he came to use without having it) and hold off on giving him a bath, or is it better to get him bathed tomorrow and apply the Frontline in a few days? He is not smelly. The fact that he does not have any form of flea/tick prevention at the moment is making me more nervous than his lack of a bath. We live in New England and in a city, so ticks are less worrisome, but the flea risk concerns me. He also currently has tapeworm, which makes me more worried that he may have already been exposed to fleas. He is not scratching and does not look uncomfortable. Please help! Thanks.
