  1. Not really a post for the Food and Dietary Category, so I will post it here. As Rocket has gotten older, he routinely turns up his nose at his morning meal, often preferring Brunch over Breakfast. Some days he eats his first meal as late as 1:30 or 2:00 PM. Given the heat here right now, it's understandable as we cannot do walks so he really isn't burning calories and just isn't hungry. Most of the time, he needs to see you make a fuss over his food to be interested in eating. In addition to shredded cheese, he has decided that he also needs the Shaky Cheese added to his meal. He's been watching too much Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and now expects all meals to contain cheese. Sam's Club to the rescue: For those who don't know, you can get the Super Economy size (24 oz) of shaky cheese at Sams (and presumably other warehouse clubs) and if you need it, the MEGA Size Shaky Cheese at a whopping 4.5 lbs per container. All I have to do is shake the container and wait for him to arrive in the kitchen. He must observe the dispensing of the cheese into the bowl or it didn't happen. Not that he's spoiled. This boy still makes me laugh every day.
