Thanks Mere, Unfortunately, it's definitely not arthritis as the joint isn't involved at all according to the xray. We're waiting for the xray to be read by the radiologist at the OSV, so I should hopefully know more in a couple of days....

Well, the news is not what we wanted. Possibly early osteo. The xrays are off to the radiologist at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists for review....prayers please!

Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss. My dear Daddy has been gone just under two years and I remember so clearly what the first days were like. Take comfort in the love you so obviously shared and know that you will see him again.
