  1. I agree--so close. Now that Toodles has gotten to the "poop happens" stage, there are many new ... adventures. Tonight it was on the driveway just as we were about to go through the gate to the backyard. At least it happened before we got back in the house.
  2. Did you notice how many other pooping products are available?
  3. Oh Ducky, I'm so very sorry that your happy girl didn't get to stay longer. She deserved a long happy retirement and you deserved her company. Godspeed Leela.
  4. Just catching up. I love your drawings.
  5. It takes real talent to get mud on your nose when most of the yard is artificial turf.
  6. Maybe she's on a no-sugar diet. She's gorgeous, with or without a taste for whippy cream.
  7. Happy 11th AnnIE!!! Glad you had such a great day of adventures, especially presents ... er ... pets. I've had a few old girls--especially broodies--who missed the memo about the impact of birthdays. They're so much fun.
  8. Toodles could use some woowoo drops, but she already gets cbd. I hope the werkers finish soon so that Punkin can get back to her usual self.
  9. Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks to the Angels for the memories and the virtual feast.
  10. Happy 12th to the bestest kind of Punkin'!!!! I hope your berger plane, fries, punkin treats, and chikken sprinkles were a tasty (and tolerable) feast. You look awesome!
  11. Medical: Good news for Willa, better news for Doolin. Yay! Trip: They both look so happy, especially Willa. Well, until you traumatized poor Doolin by showering him off. Doolin. Happy Thanksgiving!
  12. If you're sure you don't want the wall calendar, I'll take it! It might cost even less to send it as an oversize letter, but perhaps not. In any event, I'd be happy to kick in extra for your shipping costs.
  13. Thanks, Jan. Toodles is a dear, and is doing fairly well for an oldie. I'm not thrilled by "poop happens," but she's not the first and I can live with it.
  14. AnnIE, If you're going to be a very bad dog, it's important not to get caught in the act. YVT, Daisy, a very bad dog --- AnnIE, Nonchalance is the best post-wipeout attitude. I'm getting a bit too wobbly to be as nonchalant as I'd like, and I'm really only good for a lap or two anyway, but you can still rock it. Go AnnIE! YVT, Toodles, 14 1/4 --- AnnIE, I am soooooo looking forward to your third and subsequent Adventure Stories, even if your humom is not. YVT, GreyPoopon, who likes reading about other houndies' adventures, especially after cleaning up after one who has reached the stage when "poop happens."
  15. I too especially love the one of Venus. It reminds me of so many dogs I've know, including (current) Daisy--different hair, same expression.
  16. It looks like AnnIE has no use for the book itself--it can't pet her. What a great day for AnnIE and the kidlets. It's great that you're welcome to return.
  17. It's so awesome when they pick you. I've had it happen a few times, sometimes when I didn't think it was going to, and it always felt wonderful. I usually held out for a connection even if it wasn't, erm, exclusive. ETA: Have fun next weekend.
  18. Buster is _very_ cute. Have a fun weekend. I've always thought of it as the Full Travolta.
  19. I can't see the drool, but I'm sure it's forming if not dripping. And how could you resist those gorgeous big eyes? Glad she got some bones. Wiki
  20. That's an _outstanding_ prize. A generous total and a nice split between you and a rescue. (You could probably have said that. They'd have understood and laughed.) Go Willa!
