Prayers for Chevy and his family.

I went through this with one of my cats earlier this year. According to my vet, there are no food restrictions with cats. I cooked up hamburger and chicken and would feed it to him 5-6 times a day for weeks and he ate as much as he wanted. Getting him to eat wasn't the hard part, getting 5 meds down him twice a day was the real challenge. He's fat, happy and sassy today!! Good luck!

I am so sorry for your loss. I believe that part of God's plan was choosing you and Dylan to show Katie what it was like to be loved. What a blessing that is. Hugs to all of you. Godspeed Katie. Watch over those that loved you. Even though it was too short of a time, you were loved!

I am going through the same thing with Abbey. She, too, has the symptoms you describe and has also lost several pounds over the course of the past 5 months (despite eating better than me!). I can't remember what her previous testing results were, but this test showed her 'low normal' for greyhounds. My vet and I decided to start her on a very low dose of soloxine to see if it helps thinking she may do better with higher levels. It's only been two weeks, so we'll see! Good luck with D.C.
