Grey Pup (4/9)

  1. Be greytful for every day no matter the diagnosis. Too often hemangio is only discovered when it's too far advanced to do anything except say good bye.
  2. The best place for all things corn is a Facebook page....Greyhounds With Corns
  3. Not everyone always agreed with Chris but no one ever doubted his love of Sequoia. Many of us in the SoCal area were lucky to meet them both at Solvang. How ironic that Solvang was last weekend.
  4. Our adoption group uses a mixture of DE and ground raw pumpkin seeds for all our new fosters.
  5. Millie...Thanks for coming to the M&G yesterday! We all enjoyed meeeting you. And I'm glad Chris was there to talk to you about rats and greyhounds living in peace together.
  6. Hi I'm Janet and I will be hosting the WCGA M&G on Saturday with my greyhounds George and Misty Blue!
  7. I would love to stop by a Meet and Greet! The rescue that I had previously talked to was the Golden State Greyhound group, but I will check your group out as well— I'll try and stop by one of next month's Meet & Greets. How does your group ensure a good match between dog/owner? All of our available greyhounds are placed with foster families so that we can learn as much as possible about their personalities, their ability to live with cats and/or smaller dogs, etc. This way we can match, as much as possible, the best greyhound to your lifestyle and preferences.
  8. And welcome from Sacramento. There are several adoption groups here in this area. I volunteer with Wine Country Greyhound Adoptions. The group is actually based in Santa Rosa but we have quite a large group of adopters in this area. We have Meet & Greets at least twice a month at different locations and would love to have you stop by.
  9. Many will have suggestions for you but the accepted max dosage seems to be 9mg. This is the amount I give my greyhound for his severe fear of thunder and fireworks.
  10. Link to Morris Animal Foundation's Canine Cancer Campaign: http://www.curecaninecancer.org/
  11. It has made a huge difference on George and Misty's teeth. I had been using the spray but decided I had more control with the gel. And I love the idea of the using the eye shadow sponge.
  12. Tracey...I hope someone has some very encouraging and helpful experiences for you and Shasta.
  13. Therese...Just in case you don't get an answer soon, I have forwarded your message to the Wine Country Greyhound message board as I know several adopters have used the manuka wound ointment but not many of them are on GreyTalk. I have given them your email address...didn't think you would mind! Janet
  14. Hi and welcome from California!
  15. Hi and welcome from Northern California, but originally from Ventura and can't say enough good things about GreySave! In fact a friend of mine just adopted her new hound, Madison, from GreySave.
