Please, no response needed to this post. I am out of country and for the first time in several days, this afternoon I saw an English paper with an article about Eight Belles.... and I just feel a need to say I am so sorry, you were so young...Godspeed you beautiful girl with such a huge heart.

Diane, we are so sorry to hear about Mahogany.

I'm so sorry you are going through this stress with your DH on top of the stress of Dempsey's osteo. I would have a serious talk with DH. You both went into this, and to throw it up to you now is dirty pool. Tell him how much this hurts you, but if he must fight about money, now is not the time.

I don't know if this would help at all but have you tried Tums? My Renie has some stomach problems and has had lots of testing including barium x-rays, scoping, ultrasound, etc. I give her Zantac or Pepcid twice a day, Reglan when she starts the gulping sound or seems uncomfortable, and Carafate for a few days after each episode of vomiting. The other day she was laying by my computer desk and her stomach sounded like there was a tornado in it. She had already had Zantac and Reglan earlier so I broke up a Tums tablet and gave it to her and within a few minutes her tummy noises stopped.

Dear Stanley, We are so sorry that you were feeling poorly in that area. We hope that you are now all over with the squirt poos. The squirt poos are not fun at all, especially when you have to starve. Oh, and by the way...when our mom comes to see you, make her feel really guilty for leaving us all at home. I hope Mizzy is doing better this evening. The Easy Cheese stuff in the squirt can is what works for Renie, who hates to take pills.

She sounds like such a sweetie. I wonder if she has an instinct or sixth sense that her time is short and she is looking for a den or some such to get into. Kind of like when an elderly person no longer wants to leave the house.
