  1. Our new boy, Bentley can't wait to Enjoy his 1st Mountain Hounds!!
  2. I haven't been able to write about my heart boy here eithor. He passed April 29th. We still miss Quannah every day. He was 11. He was my funny goofy curious sweet boy. It was hard to only sign up for 1 secret santa this year. But still fun when Jack opened his present and at 13 was excited as he's always been for the surprises.
  3. Dont know what to tell you. I haven't seen that before. But will be keeping you and Lisa in my thoughts and prayers. I have a 13 year old. He has his ups and downs too.
  4. I think coincidence. Quannah has had corns, but no loose toe nails
  5. Sending hugs to you and Alan and hoping he's feeling better today.
  6. I love mine too. Thanks for all your hard work.
  7. You're both awesome and so helpful! Thanks for all you do for Greytalk! And Thanks for your service to our country!
  8. Jack has always been a picky eater, he would eat fine for a while then quit eating (or eat very little) until we changed the type of kibble we were giving him. He just seemed to get bored with it. Constandy finding a new kibble that worked for him and that he liked was not fun. Our grandaughter came to visit and left partial jars of baby food that we decided to try. He loved it. So we started putting a tablespoon on top of his kibble for variety. That seemed to solve his variety problem and has been pretty inexpensive. We add other leftovers at times, or nothing at all and havent changed kibble for a long time. Quannah loves food and will eat anything, so he gets a little of whatever Jack is getting, just because.
  9. Mary Thanks so much for posting the pictures for me. Jack has been really enjoying his goodies. Thanks again for being such a generous secret santa
  10. I used to try to wait, but not this year. As soon as we got the packages and DH and I were both home we tore into them. I love watching them put their long noses into the box or bag to find their prezzie. ( I always check first for safety) I really enjoy finding items during the year (especially on sale) that I think will be good as a secret santa prezzie. Then gathering something especialy for our SS when we get the names. It really starts getting me in the Christmas giving spirit I think.
  11. Sorry, we got the package yesterday, but mom worked late and didnt get on the computer. So many wonderful gifts. The collar looks Greyt on Jack! We're going visiting and he'll look very festive, Thanks! He Loves the duck and the kitty stuffies, (When he stuck his nose in to get the second one, Quannah took off with the first. ) They traded off several times, always the good brothers and sharing. I've never seen the ice cream before, I'm sure it will be a big hit. Bully sticks are ALWays A1 around here. I love my goodies too, that candle is soo cute and smells greyt. The sign is perfect and I dont have that note pad. Soo many Greyt Goodies! Thanks soo Much! Merry Christmas! I took pictures but have difficulty posting, I'll try later
  12. Tigger My Brother Quannah and I think that your mom should at least let you choose 1 thing out of your stocking early! Your Pal Jack We'd love to see Pictures when Tigger does open her Prezzies! Glad you liked the goodies. Debi and Jack
  13. Santa, we're not sure who you are, but you're Wonderful!! Quannah begged, and we just couldn't wait, the package had to be opened The pictures on the outside of the box were soo creative. Then when Quannah put his nose in the box he loved pulling out the reindeer stuffie(and Jack liked it too ) I cant figure out where you got Quannahs picture that is in the ornament; its already on the tree. Quannah loved his treats too, and shared with Jack (since we insisted.) The bling and the collar are perfect, they look really good on him, and he hadnt gotten any bling before, so he showed off and thought he was quite handsome.(which of course, he is) I took pics as he opened things and I'll try to post them later, I have difficulty posting pics Thanks so much! Have a Greyt Christmas!
  14. Susan and Alan I LOVE secret santa and have such a good time shopping for fun things. The evil elfs are another favorite as they can be so sneaky and get such good information without the recipient figuring it out. Hope Alan has fun playing baseball with his Yankees bat, I couldnt resist it when I heard he was a Yankees fan I had some difficulty printing the pictures, feel free to replace them with your favorites in the ornament and stocking. Have a Greyt Christmas!
  15. So glad to hear that Joes feeling better. Sure sounds like toofer troubles were the problem. Will continue to send you hugs and prayers through the recovery days!
  16. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7d72...00AcuXDZm3aN2NA Their main wish for Christmas last year was a fenced yard So mom and dad finally got that for them in August. Quannah is 7 years old and has been retired and home for 3 years. He LOVES any and all treats. He's playing more with stuffies now and especially likes a little black dog toy that Jacks secret santa sent last year. Jack took up with one of Quannahs gifts so all was well. Quannah loves all people and believes he's the center of the universe, therefore anyone within 30 feet obviously wants to pet him. He's not picky and says he likes to open packages, anything Santa sends will be wonderful! Quannah is black Jack is 8 years old and also has been retired and home 3 years. He LOVES stuffies, especially if they make funny/wierd sounds. Any new stuffie is the immediate favorite. He likes treats, but he's picky and has to sniff first, then taste, then lay down, and decide if its worth eating or if he should spit it out. But no worries, if Jack doesnt eat it, Quannah is happy to clean up Jack said his first love is running in his new fenced yard (and always being first when he and Quannah run), and then stuffies are his second favorite or maybe sleeping. Jack said to tell Santa he's not picky and anything Santa sends will be just fine. Jack is white and brindle
  17. Quannah has itchy feet and I think we'll see if it will help him. The website has a store listed near where we live. Thanks for letting us know about it. I'd never heard of it.
  18. Both our boys are chipped. Our group did a make up micro chip clinic for the greys adopted before they started microchipping. We were so glad they did, it was a better price. They did it the week before our picnic, I think as a safety idea.
  19. Jack likes to bark. My dh works at night and sleeps during the day...until Jack decides she should get up. She said he barked for 30 min one day. so she'd get up early and take him out. Sometimes he gets her up, then he goes and lays on the couch, and seems to want her to join him. Why in the world would she want to stay in her room when she could be laying on the couch and giving him ear scritches. Quannah doesn't bark as much, but he will bark/growl at other dogs/animals.
