Pharaoh used to eat dirt along time ago. My Grandpa told me he was trying to get salt. (We lived down at the beach at the time)... I don't really know if that was why he was eating dirt though. But what I really wonder is WHY did he eat a slug, only to puke it up whole later?

What a bread hog!! My friends Greyhound (Dante) has done the same thing. He would eat an entire package of rolls or a loaf of bread. He even taught himself how to open the bread drawer. The owners had to put baby locks on it. I think Hot Rod will be just fine... he might drink a little extra water though. Silly dogs!!

Awww, if Ember is already that mobile at 2 weeks, just wait....it only gets better. My friends Greyhound (who also had her front leg amputated), doesn't even remember having a 4th leg!! She is extrememly active, running, playing and getting into mischief all the time.

Sending prayers to both you and Jed. I have a friend who went through this same thing and now his Greyhound is as happy as a clam, running and playing on three legs like nothing ever happened.

DURALACTIN!!!!!!
This is a Non-prescription product that is only---Dried Milk Protein!!!!!
This was given to a very bad arthritic Lab I had---given by her Acupuncturist Vet...and----IT WORKS!!!!!! It is SAFE, and can be given with any supplements or other prescription drugs. And GREY SAFE!!!!
And....it is for cats, dogs, HUMANS, horses and many other animals. I use the Horse Granules for my Grey and Cat===and MYSELF!!!!!
Read about it at www.omahavaccine.com - and maybe get only the dog wafers to start with, and find out if it works in your Household!
THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!
Duralactin worked for Pharaoh too. When he was 8 years old, he was diagnosed with osteo-arthritis. I started using Duralactin and his arthritis went away. I could even feel a bone spur in his shoulder which is now gone. He is over 11 years old now and doing wonderful. He still takes his Duralactin every day.

Pharaoh has both his dew-claws. I try to keep the short with no snags so he doesn't catch them on anything.
-
Rock, thank you so much! That is something I will keep forever.
-
Sure Brenda----thanks for helping! That's a very handsome pic of Pharoah on greyhound data.....I'm a bit behind in these, but I'll catch up asap....
Whenever you have spare time Thank You!!

Hi Rock,
I sent my donation awhile back and recieved a thank you note! Will you do a pedigree overview on Pharaoh??
His racing name was 'Stagecoach' and his sire is P's Raising Cain and his dam is High Spirited.

I sent my check awhile back and received a nice thank you note from them. I was not expecting that, but thought it was awfully nice!
Kelli, if you read this... the letter came to us but the note was to Zara and Quincy! Isn't that cute???

I am so sorry! Iberia will always be with you.

My check will be on it's way tomorrow. I will also send $20.00 because -
1. The Greyhounds need it
2. Zara and Quincy are from there

Dear Tedsmom,
I am so sorry for your loss It makes me so sad just to read your post. Please don't fill your mind with thoughts of Ted being in pain as I'm sure Ted is happy and pain free right now. He will always be around you. And I know he wants you to be happy. Fill your head with thoughts of him running, jumping and eating at the rainbow bridge because that is what he is doing. Ted knows how much he was loved by you.

Wow, that is wonderful! You put a lot of information in there and actually answered questions that I had Very, very good!! It will make for a nice article for the newsletter.
