    Joker

I'm sorry to read this. Osteo stinks. Run free Joker.
  5. :f_white I'm so sorry. A year ago on August 2nd we lost Sniickers, who also had osteo.
  6. Roo ripped one of her pads and we put a bootie on her and used EMT gel. Within two days she ate the torn pad and another pad was already there. It was surprisingly fast.

    Genie's Gone

Shocked to see this. I thought Genie might just keep going and going. My deepest sympathy to you. She sounds like she was a special girl.
  8. You might be able to get the xrays in digital format and send them via email. This way the *only* copies of the x-rays isn't somewhere else in case you need them locally. Cornell might have the capacity to digitize them and then both OSU and Cornell can see the xrays without any delay. Sending positive thoughts for your Beau.
  9. Congratulations! She's a pretty dark brindle girl. I hope there are a lot of pictures of her homecoming.
  10. My heart breaks for you and your family. I hope you have many special moments to treasure with your Asia.
  11. Sending prayers for your Cricket. :hope
  12. Ask your vet to start her on doxy. Tick-borne disease can have neurological symptoms.
  13. Congratulations! He is really good looking and looks THRILLED to be home. I think the name Havoc is fun -- hopefully he wouldn't live up to it.
  14. She's adorable. I love the photo of her collapsed between the two beds.
  15. I'm so sorry about the osteo diagnosis. Holley Pharmaceuticals is supposed to be a good source. If you join circle of grey, you should get lots of advice and support. There are a few people here with long-term osteo survivors who have given their dogs artemisinin.
  16. Wonderful news! What a beautiful girl Bell is.
  17. Sending good thoghts to Kingsley. I hope the time passes quickly for you -- it's hard worrying. Please post an update when he comes home.
  18. Is there swelling? Maybe take him to the vet for an x-ray just to check. Hope it's nothing.
  19. I had reunited littermates, Cricket and Snickers -- both have gone on to the bridge. I'm not sure if they remembered each other initially but they got along really well. I'd ask a moderator to see if you can post this in everything else greyhound or training and behavior -- you might get more responses.
  20. I had Roo, an oops puppy who was never tattooed, microchipped. I haven't yet with Aero and Doc, but might in the future.
  21. When Roo was spayed (at around 10 months) I remember she was groggy and not very active afterward. I don't remember thirst like Suzy has. They also sent her home with pain meds for a few days. Hope Suzy feels better soon!
