  1. Welcome! Tosca is adorable and Jamey is very handsome.
  2. He is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations. I'm glad you were still able to get him despite the weather.
  3. I'm so sorry for your loss. I could tell from your pictures of Pammy that you gave her a wonderful home.
  4. I just watched the video, and I think there's a grey earlier on too -- if you could pause the video, then it'd be easier to confirm.

    Tigger

What incredibly sad news Jen. I haven't been on GT much lately, and I had no idea what had unfolded until I saw the title of this post. Sending love and hugs to you.
  6. It is a very sad way to be introduced to the GreyTalk community, but you will find lots of wise words here to help you with your sorrow. I've never lost a grey, so I can only imagine the pain, but I'm sure as time passes you'll remember all the wonderful years you had with her. I'm sure you did everything and more that you could to help her. My heart goes out to you.
  7. I've not participated in a secret santa swap yet, but the late November start is right when the Chrismas season gets really hectic. Having the info in early November would make it a lot easier, especially if you are someone who likes to get their shopping done early without the Christmas rush.

    Lola Montez

How sad! It's heartbreaking to hear when they didn't have a chance to reach their forever home. Run free little girl.
  9. Happy Birthday to your sweet Iberia! It's Aero's fourth birthday today, and I got tears reading your post. I'll be thinking of Iberia when I see fireworks too.
  10. How sad. Buttons was a very pretty girl. Maxwell and Jasmine will be meeting her at the bridge.

    My Darling Bobo

It sounds like Bobo was very much loved. Run free Bobo.
  12. So sad for you. Let your grey give you a big hug. I'm sure he senses your sadness.
  13. I'm wondering about my new girl. The foster mom said she was eating 7-8 cups a day. I've been feeding her closer to 7 of Nutro dental, and some treats, but how long should she eat this quantity? It seems like a ton. My other grey, a boy who we've had for 10 months, eats about 4 to 4 1/2, depending on the treat level. She's thin -- you can see her spine and hip bones, and she devours all her food, so I've been maintaining the amount. She's also rather tall for a girl. The adoption agency tested her twice for worms, and she's clear. Do some greys have faster metabolisms? Do they level off after they've been off the track for a while? At this point her exercise level is only moderate because she is only leash walked. She had a broken leg and has to stay at my speed for another three weeks. Should I try some fattening foods, or will she just gradually fill out?? I was shocked to find that we had gone through a big bag of Nutro in a little over a week after adopting her. Someone said the size of the food matters too. Nutro dental has big chunks, so maybe it isn't that vast of a quantity. Any thoughts?
