  1. Greyt to see 2 positive updates in a row. Sounds like Rusty is definitely improving. Here's hoping his tummy settles down and he can come home soon!
  2. I am so happy to see such positive update on Penny. I know she's not out of the woods, but know that your joy is shared around the world by grey lovers! Continued prayers and white light for this sweet girl, and her parents!
  3. Sounds like he is improving a little, I think it's great that he ate for you, and seemed stronger too! He is still handsome, even with his little haircut. Continued prayers for improvement.
  4. Sending more white light from Canada.
  5. If your vendor is in Australia, you might be out of luck for Interceptor. Pets Megastore, also in Aussieland, has this on their Interceptor page: US Customers:We are unable to export this product to the USA Interceptor Spectrum white for dogs 22-45kg (48-100lbs) US$40.42 [AU$47.10] 6 Months Supply. Used in the prevention of heartworm disease and the control of Hookworm, Roundworm, Whipworm and tapeworm infections in dogs. It is unlawful to import Novartis pet medicines into the United States. Accordingly, we cannot sell any Novartis medicines to the U.S customers. U.S customers should see their local veterinarian to obtain Novartis pet medicines.
  6. Sending prayers and white light for your Lola.
  7. Tenderhearts is likely right, it will need air to heal. Easier said than done on the foot! When Lou has had cuts on his foot (happens fairly often!), we only cover it if he's outside, with a dogbootie, and we just flush it with saline and colloidal silver twice daily. If he's fussing with it, a 100% cotton sock on it usually stops him.
  8. Geez, maybe I should drive down there, I'm looking at around $800 just for one dental, and Romi and Andy both need one!
  9. Another one here, Romi can shake the house when he goes down - he weighs 92 pounds! But he's lost weight, he was 95 pounds a few months ago
  10. Rusty should be having his ultrasound about now. Sending prayers for some good news for him!
  11. Wonderful news! Sending more prayers for a complete recovery, and quick!
  12. Sending healing white light to Rusty, and for you
  13. Those do look like nice boots, but if you're looking to really protect the foot, Therapaws are thick rubber on the bottom. You should email them and talk to them about your specific needs, I think. Another option would be to see if there are any GT'ers in your area that have the Therapaws - then you could see for yourself if they are right for what you want.
  14. We use them for Romi with the corns. Measure very carefully, so you get the right size. It's also a good idea to keep her nails on the short side. Practice inside with them before you have her wear them outside - they take some getting used to. They are pretty much the best boot I've come across, however if corns aren't your issue, there are some others that are pretty impressive, I'll go see if I can find the link for them. Ha, found it. One of the dogs in our playgroup has these, and they make a lot of sense to me, especially if you aren't dealing with corns: Blizzard boots
  15. Sending my deepest sympathies on the loss of your Oliver. Even through the tears, tho, I had to smile when I read your last post. Our bridge boy Cody liked to make little poopy trees of all the shrubs in our back yard - he just could not resist leaving some poop hanging off a shrub if he could manage it. After he died, I just did not want to clean them out. Of course, I had to, and I really miss seeing those little decorations left by him! May it ease your grief to know he's up at the bridge, hanging with our our angels. You'll see him again one day. Run free, Oliver.
  16. Checking in on Carrier - latest update sounds promising, sending prayers he continues to improve!
  17. Don't know how I missed this, but sending prayers for Carrier, and for you, that it's just a funny tummy and nothing serious.
  18. That's actually just krazy glue. Really. My dd worked in a vet office, they use it all the time.
  19. I don't know how I missed this post, but belated hugs for what you're going through with Rickie. I have no experience to share. For bandaging, I do know that Batmom's leggings have saved me some grief with rear leg injuries.
  20. I very rarely go to the vet anymore for cuts or scrapes. I just start the routine up, flush with a mixture of iodine and saline regularly to keep it clean, rub with clean saline soaked gauze to encourage granulation, then prep H to help it close up more quickly. Best not to cover cuts with anything, the air helps them heal. Exception: if the pupper is worrying at it, then we start with the modified wardrobe for the pupper lol.
  21. I'm so sorry. Run free, Duncan.
  22. I am so very sorry to hear Oliver has gone to the bridge. Run free, sweet pupper.
