  2. So sorry to hear this news Heather. Hope there's some good time for you all left.
  3. Really happy to hear all this news Hope he gets used to his meds soon and they will keep his seizures under control.
  4. Just hugs. They are like Johnny's seizures, only Johnny did have the neurological problems afterwards and every seizure took something away from him.
  5. Robbie, I'm so sorry. Frank has been on GT for as long as I can remember and even now, after several days, it's still not sinking in. I know you miss him, know that others miss him also.
  6. Craig, I am so sorry to hear this. Always enjoyed the pictures of both Brandee and Charley and I am so sorry that that horrible disease took her away from you and your family.
  7. Glad to see it is pretty common behavior in puppies. Lehto also does it, specially with my husband and has drawn blood several times. Had to tell him that there would be no more playing if Lehto used his teeth. Lehto knows not to do it with me, I will not allow it, but it also costed me a pair of work out pants. Right now he is teething and seems be be a bit worse again, so I make sure he has a lot of stuff to chew on, plenty of sticks when we take a walk and since yesterday he is carrying a tennis ball when he goes out.
  8. Yes! It's very contagious also! Don't need dog to dog contact for it, if you get in contact with a dog with that disease, you can spread it to other dogs in other places.
  9. I'm so sorry to hear she is gone. My condolences.
  10. Checking in to see how Phene and you are doing. Hoping for many, many good days to come.
  11. Yes, it is easier to digest for dogs, or people with upset stomachs. Also the water, the white rice is cooked in can be given to them.
  12. Update: Talked to her owner this week and since she is being fed raw, she hasn't had any issues anymore. But she is keeping a close eye on her. A vet visit is coming up, one of these days, so she is going to discus it further. Thanks for all the input.
  13. I did, thank you. This doesn't fit the problem, she doesn't throw up her food or water. She drinks water just fine. I saw this video too, of a dog exhibiting the same symptoms as your friend's dog. The two dog's behaviors look eerily similar, don't you think? A dog with that problem brings up its food, she doesn't do this, no water either. The vet has seen the video and now has all kind of suggestions, is convinced there is something wrong with her stomach. In the mean time, she's been fed raw now and could eat normal? The owner is going to give this a few days, see how she does on raw meat. We are wondering if she did develop an allergy for something in all those kibbles. If the problems return, she will do ask the vet suggests.
  14. I did, thank you. This doesn't fit the problem, she doesn't throw up her food or water. She drinks water just fine.
  15. Her Mom and I have been talking back and forth for a while and a few times we came back to the idea she might have an allergy problem. Her mom will put her on raw tomorrow to see if she suddenly became allergic to most kibbles. Any other suggestions are very welcome.
  16. Her mom gave me some more info. Leah didn't have this problem in the 4,5 years before. The kibble she gets is already soaked with water.

    I'm so sorry
  18. I sent her Mom the link, so she will be reading the suggestions. My suggestion to her was the same as yours, Kamsmom.
  19. Yes, her belly does turn pink and the thing that looks like reversed sneezing comes after the moment her ribs and belly start to contract. Sometimes she throws up her food and collapses
  20. Hope someone can help. for the last 6 months this happens when Leah eats. Normally she keeps her food down. Some times she is in so much pain, her legs will give out on her and she will throw up her food. The vet can't find out what is wrong, she has been on diet food, she had medication for 2 weeks that protected her stomach, she has been dewormed, treated for Giardia and has been treated with Finidiar Forte. She isn't eating fast and gets small portions 3 times a day. She chews well and has water added to her kibble so it is softer. Another thing is, she didn't have this problem in the 4,5 years before. The link is a video that her mom made to send to her vet and it shows what happens.
