My 8 yr old greyhound Asia was attacked Sunday night by two unleashed dogs. It was so horrific. She had many injuries but I thought she’d pull through. Yesterday she developed cellulitis and it was so far gone that I had to make the rough choice to put her down rather than make her suffer. I miss her terribly and can’t believe I’m not a greyhound mom anymore. I also feel traumatized over seeing all that I witnessed this week with her attack and her recovery. My kids are having a hard time too. She was a huge part of our family. Seeing such a gentle creature get attacked was the worst moment of my life. 😌
