  1. Hi all, if a rescue greyhound called Mully, hes 6 years old and very timid. I have had him 5 weeks and I admit I'm in love lol. I also have a 9 year old lurcher called Bryn. Can anyone tell me how to walk 2 on leads without them getting tangled up lol. Mully likes to sniff and explore now which I think is great as for the first few weeks he was so scared to even go out much. But this causes havoc and I spend the whole walk untangling them. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Any help gratefully received...Mully has a harness xx
  2. Ty lol....hes my best boy again, another clean night and didnt wake up till 5am 😁😁😁
  3. Hi all and ty so much I am a very proud mum....Mully had his first clean night last night. I took all your advice, I put his bed nearer to me....I also covered him over and settled him in z nice warm bed and he didnt move for 4 hours, when unfi had to get up to the loo. He went out and went back to bed like a star. Here is hoping the same for tonight xx
  4. Hi and ty so much for all the help. I have tried walking him before bed time but he seems to be scared of the dark...its pitch black here mostly at night time as we are in the middle of nowhere with only a few street lights. I have to really make him go out last thing in the garden bless him but if my Bryn goes out he will follow him but I cant see if he goes lol. He has been recently worked by the greyhound centre that I got him from. I have changed his food but that was over 2 weeks ago. He does poo an awful lot more than any of my other dogs iv had, yesterday I counted 8 times lol...the things we have to do πŸ˜‚x
  5. Lol if tried and tried to put up a pic but it wont do it sorry, I must be thick πŸ˜‚. Hope to get the fleece in a couple of days so hopefully it will help my beautiful boy. I'm also having problems with his walks, he will only go the same route lol, if I try to go a different way he freezes completely and refuses to go. He also does this whenever anyone comes towards us etc, luckily my village only had 312 people in it so dont see many people. Loud noises also scare him, he wouldn't go out the door the other day because the children in the school were out playing and making a noise 😊
  6. Hi and ty so much for the advice, Mully does sleep on his quilt in my bedroom and I have a house fleece on order as I thought he may be cold. I live in Scotland and it has been -9 here at night and yes he does often get up and shake. I didnt realise that meant had was cold tho. I do have another dog, Bryn a 9 year old lurcher that Mully follows everywhere. Bryn sleep half in the backroom in his bed and half on my bed with me. So far Mully hasn't attempted to get on my bed, which I'm happy about. We livd in a very old cottage with coal fire so it does get cold at night. Ty πŸ€—
  7. Hi all, I'm new here and I'm a new greyhound owner. I adopted Mully, a six year old ex racer 3 weeks ago and hes really doing well. He is a very timid scared of everything dog, but gradually coming out of his shell. My only problem is that he poos and wees in the night. I get up at 3am and let him out but in the morning there is always a mess. Hes come on so well, but I'm not sure if time and patience will cure this or does anyone have any suggestions for me plz. Hes fine during the day, with just an occasional accident if he gets scared so any help appreciated ty 😁
