    I was thinking of a harness actually- thanks for the idea of tying directly to that instead of collar. That might work.

    Thanks for the 2 suggestions - still waiting to get into vet ophthalmologist for consult.

    Katie will most likely need to have an indolent corneal ulcer fixed and need to wear a cone to not mess with the contact they'll put on for healing. She's had lots of medical procedures and the cone has never been successful for her - it slips so far she can't drink or eat. Any suggestions?

    Just asking if anyone has recently used the bite not collar? My poor Katie had part of her tail amputated and will need an ecollar for 2 weeks until the sutures come out. We have the cone but like every dog she hates it and it always falls over her ears no matter what we do. I thought about the muzzle with stool guard but she might still rub that against her tail. Thanks for any advice.
