What was the recovery like after the amputation? How long the recovery lasted? What it anterior or posterior leg? My grey was just diagnosed and we are going through options, she is 10 and front leg. Thanks

Hi everyone, I have a 10 years old, Coco, she has a limp, after x-rays and numerous vet visits, we couldn't figure out what the problem was. The good think is that the limp isn't getting worse. We went through possible corn to possible bone cancer. As x-rays came up negative, our next step would've been MIR. So far we decided to take a breather, and let Coco relax from the vet visits. (we also had problems finding a vet who knew about corns in greyhound). That being said, considering her age, one vet suggested giving her supplement with type 2 collagen. Has any of you have tried and how significant of results have you seen? thanks for reading this. Irina and Coco
