Our girls Aja (we name our dogs after Steely Dan songs) will be 13 in April. She has been walking gingerly for some time. We thought it was due to corns (which we are treating) but it got worse recently. So we tried pregnizone, then 2 sessions of accupuncture with minimal impact. Tod.ay we did the Depo Medrol injection. Initial reaction is positive so we are optimistic. Hopefully she progresses. We are not ready to send her over the rainbow bridge quite yet. I'll give updates.
