  1. Just make sure you give the peroxide outside in case the vomit appears sooner than anticipated. Thanks, Don. I've had to use this service more than once. They're extremely efficient and kind and even call the next day for follow up.
  2. Just take your time. Many galgos lived on the street or were fed with lots of other dogs. Take it slow with him.
  3. My Iker was the first dog from FBM to go to North America.
  4. What a good looking guy! Congrats to all!
  5. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
  6. I’m so very sorry.so much in such a short period of time.
  7. My guys have all loved cat poop. In fact Iker will try to quickly steal it from the litter box on his way out the back door.
  8. Agree with every body who posted before me. Don't even let your brain go there. It could be anything.
  9. Its not unusual for greyhounds to have TBD prior to adoption. Phoenixs babesia was diagnosed about six months post adoption. I strongly recommend you have him tested for tick disease, as even if hes been with you for a while, these disease can lay dormant and flare up long after adoption. I lost all three of my greyhounds to osteo. They were between the ages of 11-13 years old.
  10. I’m so sorry, Jan. My heart is breaking for you and the rest of us who will miss him so much.
  11. Not too old at all. I bet hell be a great companion. If hes not used to a muzzle, I dont know why you would want to use one. Congratulations!
  12. Everything is so new. Be patient and he'll go outside with you when he has to go and when he's emotionally ready.
  13. I’m so sorry. I’ve lost three greyhounds to this awful disease. As others have said, please, please keep in mind that it’s an extremely painful disease. Thinking of both of you.
  14. I know others who hated to have their ears touched. It’s good that you’re warning people.
  15. Jey, Grammy and CoCo, Im so very sorry. She was such a lovely girlie. My guys will have treats tonight in celebration of Star. Hugs to all of you.
  16. My Iker is like that. I finally realized that he was better off going for a walk at off hours or a different route. I walk him during quiet times and let him choose the route that makes him most comfortable. I learned this from a wonderful behaviourist and it's worked wonders.
  17. I'm so sorry, Jan. All three if them were so lucky to end up and you and I'm glad she was able to spend her last month in a loving home with her companions.
