  1. Annie left for the bridge to be with Caspar again august 30.
  2. I would like to have Caspar added to the list, he webt over the rainbow bridge july 29.
  3. She´s 12 1/2 with arthritis. In my book that´s equal with painkillers no matter what. My Annie is 7 and has spondylosis and possible arthritis in one paw. She´s on a life long Metacam prescription and on periods when she´s not limping I will reduce the amount of medicin by half. Annie is a major dramaqueen when it comes to small things but doesn´t say a word when in real pain. So please, consider giving medicin to Your Pretty Girl.
  4. Hi Nina, welcome! My Annie is also from PAWS and she is Leytons aunt!
  5. Hoping for her to have a quick recovery. I´m a tall + sized person and I was knocked down once by my tiny 50 pound greyhound when she was running in full speed behind me. Thankfully I landed on soft snow so I wasn´t hurt and neither was my grey.
  6. Rest in Peace, beautiful Ember!

  9. My and Annies thoughts are with you. I hope they will find out whats wrong with him, it`s the not knowing that`s the worst part I think. Misser Soul Man! Now be a good boy and take your pills! /Love Annie
  10. Annie barks when she feels the need to raise youngsters (dogs that is!) in dog behaviourism.
  11. Oh, look, a fellow swede! Miss Annie says hello to miss Molly (they`re both from Ireland and came to sweden through the same organisation) Welcome!
  12. From one newbie to another, Welcome!
  13. Thanks for all your kind words and welcomes! I think I´m gonna like it here and after watching some of your pictures it`s a good thing that most of you live on the other side of the Atlantic or I would have major greynapping to do! Just can`t see enough of them! Nice to hear that some of you know of Sweden and that some of you even been here. My darling Annie is one of few (the only one?) who can be off leash almost everywhere and everytime. She has no intrest in running after cats, hares or even roe deer! She will look at them, whine a bit and then deside that it`s best to follow mommy! Thanks again!
  14. Hi there My name is Lotta and I live in Sollentuna, just outside of Stockholm (the capitol of Sweden ). I have an Irish Greyhound from PAWS, called Annie. She is 5 years old and the absolutely most gentle and goodhearted dog I`ve ever met. Since she had no intrest in racing, she was left in her cage for most of her early life chewing down her frontteeths to a minimum. She came to Sweden through the organisation Neverneverland, who bring mostly Lurchers and Greyhounds from Ireland to be adopted in Sweden. Unfortunately Annies first family didn`t take too good care of her due to increasing alcoholism and she and the other 2 greys were in quite poor condition when the situation was brought to light... Well now she`s got her health and condition in order and will live the rest of her life with me Sighthounds and especially greyhounds are surprisingly not that huge in Sweden and apart from a forum for people who`d adopted dogs, there aren`t any "greytalk"-forums closer by. So, since I absolutely adooore greys, I thought this would be a nice place to see pictures and hear other greylovers talk about their babies! I also thought this would be a perfect place to practise my english, so please bare with me for any misspelling I might do...
