  1. So sorry you had to say goodbye. Run free sweet boy and know that you are loved now and forever.
  2. What a lovely tribute for a very special boy. When he looked back at his life he remembered his time with you. Thank you for helping him write the last chapter of his life. Run free sweet boy, your Momma loves you so.
  3. I have used them for 3 years now. It works wonders for my two hounds Carter and Neko. I even bring it along on vacations using hot water and a jar. My hounds like it kind of soupy. They love carrot and beet time. Carter barks and wags his tail. Olewo is great stuff. I promoted it so much on Facebook and here that the company in the US that sells it (used to order directly from them, now it is thru Amazon) gave me samples to pass out at meet and greets.
  4. So sorry you have to say goodbye but in this situation it is the kindest thing for him. Sucks for you and all who loved him. He will appreciate you being with him as he crosses over.
  5. Doing well, thank you. Site looks good. No issues with the antibiotics so far. Called the clinic about the staple removal. This clinic does not take appointments. All walk ins. I have never seen this before but works for me.
  6. Yesterday my hound Carter was not by his hound sister Neko. I think she was on her bed with a cookie she didn't eat and he must of stood over her to grab the cookie. Angry barking and what I found later was a bite on his chest. I took him to the vet and he needed a few staples and they have him 2 antibiotics. Vetprofen 75 mg.twice a day for 3 days and 2 Clavamox 250mg. twice a day for 14 days .I read on this site that Clavamox can cause upset tummys and it seems like Pepcid is used to help with this. Can I give Pepcid twice a day. I am using regular strength Pepcid. At least my vet bill was not bad, no emergency walk in charge, wound cleaning, staples, exam, two meds for $206.
  7. Thanks everyone. I think her Mom is going to take her to the vet just to be sure.
  8. A greyhound friend just texted me and said her 12 year old greyhound has lost all the hair down the middle of her tail. My boy's hair got thinner but it was kind of all over his tail. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea why this would happen? I thought I would come to the experts on Greytalk. Thanks.
