    We were honored to know your beautiful girl. We were devastated when we heard the news that she had gone to the bridge. Sophie could not have been loved more that she was by you and Ty, Jackie. How lucky she was to spend the last year of her life being part of your family. Sending hugs to both of you at this very sad time.

    It is with a very heavy heart that I say our Sophie has left us. She was having her teeth done on Wednesday, and did not fully wake up after the surgery. Her heart stopped at 2:15 am. She was never alone, and I am so grateful for that. We saw her yesterday morning, and she was wrapped in her quilt and her head was resting on a pillow. She looked beautiful and peaceful, every inch the elegant lady she was… 13 years young :blush

     

    The 14 months we were blessed with her were filled with happiness and love and fun for all of us – Ty, me, her sisters, Tangerine and Dazzle (and angel Bindi, who left us 6 months ago), and we are so thankful Make Peace with Animals trusted this special girl to us. We love her fiercely and will miss her always. We needed her as much as she needed us.

     

    I'll never forget the day I picked Sophie up in Chalfont, PA in May 2010 – it was several people working to get one very wonderful baby to her final forever home. That was a happy, happy day.

    Hi Jenny, Jason and Kadee! We live in Schwensville, with our 3 greys, Dazzle, Sophie, and Tangerine. Welcome! :colgate

     

    Leave it to Tricia to know about a new doggy place! Tricia is known as the cruise director for houndie activities! I checked out the Godfrey's site also and am intrigued! Hope to see you there one day soon!

    I never thought I would be posting this about my 6 year old Bindi. She was playing crazily in the yard on Saturday afternoon with Dazzle, then suddenly stopped and fell on her side. Heart attack, killed her instantly....

     

    Don't know how we're going to go on without you, baby girl. Love you fiercely, my funny, smart, gorgeous baby girl. Safe journey, sweetheart, you and Payne take care of each other...

    Oh how very tragic!! Miss Poppy may have been grieving for Tetley... the only consolation is that they are together. I hope that brings you some comfort, Bev. So very sorry.... :-( Safe journey, Tetley and Poppy...
