  1. Of which I'm grateful. She looks so happy here.
  2. Her soul was as beautiful as her body. I'm so sorry she's gone.
  3. Sigh....18 days was just not enough. I can't believe, you're gone almost a year now, and yesterday was your FIRST Gotcha day. At least you made it to GIG last year.
  4. The Eisenhower has ONE fridge that you can ask for. The problem is that you can ask for it only when you check in. So the chances that someone else is not using are good. What I did (because my girls breakfast is refrigerated) is I bought this:http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/catalog/servlet/Search?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&keyword=9+gal.%20Coca-Cola%20Personal%20Cube%20Fridge&Ns=None&Ntpr=1&Ntpc=1&selectedCatgry=Search+All It's a 6 lb personal refridgerator. it can hold up to 9 cans of soda. I already received mine and I like it. It's the perfect size for me, quiet and cools enough for my needs. I'm putting a frozen ice pack in it before we leave to cool it down for when we get there. (or I could attach it to the car!).
  5. that's some exciting greyhound videos. If Rusty just didn't move his head I would think that the frame had frozen. Gotta luv it. And Tempo looks terrific!
  6. NO on the Ace! My Jade was a severe thunderphobe. Lots of things worked just a little, but when added together, there was a difference. We used the DAP diffuser, thunder cape (shirt wasn't around yet) and clomiperine. The other valium type pills only made her VERY hungry. Almost dangerously so, she would literally jump into my lap to get at my food. I'd never do Ace though.
  7. There are just some greys that need to be only dogs. I fostered one that ended up needing to live alone. After a month of fostering him in peace, on a last call for potty break he tore a huge hole in my Brindle's side. I fostered an older girl another time and at her new home with first time grey adopters, when she met another grey, she attacked him. She was returned to me to foster and someone who was more grey savvy adopted her and she did fine. While I can't say it's a frequent occurance, there are just some greys that do not like to be with other dogs. I hope the other dog's owners work with him or he ends up in a grey savvy home. I'm sorry your girl got the bad end of things. PS....welcome to Greytalk.
  8. What about a Tshirt? I had Dima wear one when she started to get interested in her scar. She'd like the T shirt til it got wet but the surgical site was ok
  9. I cried when I saw the locked H&M thread.
  10. I'm watching this thread because Da Bwat had plates and screws put in last year. While she's not showing any signs of discomfort, there is always the possibility they may need to come out too.
  11. I WOULD LOVE TO MEET FREDDY!!!! Will you be at the Eisenhower?!! ps. and why aren't you in your forever home yet?
