dammit. I used original Frontline on Tanzi last sunday. she still has fleas. I can't see any on Emma or Opal, but they had Frontline Plus. Also it is more difficult to see fleas on them. Opals has thicker fur and lots and lots of spots. Emma is black. so. Can I use Adams Flea and Tick mist with "Sykillstop"? If so, when can I use it if I frontlined the girls last sunday and monday? I already washed bedding. So I need to do it again?

Thank goodness! She should be fine now. Is she acting ok?

I'm sorry to hear of Tessie diagnosis. I don't have any advice (I've lost mine to hemangio and osteo)

I had a hypertensive dog and I watch mine closely now. I didn't see anything with Pearl's eyes when she had it, but I am looking at Tanzi closely and plan on bringing her in for a BP check soon.

I've had a total of 10 greys. one of my current girls Emerald is really my only permanently bald butted girl. Tanzanite has very thin fur over her butt, but it's there. Opal has a small bald patch here and there on her butt. (she never raced or even went into the race kennels...so it has to be genetic). But I can't really say she's got a bald but. Just a bald patch, the size of a silve dollar. However, Topaz, Brindle, Pearl, Diamond, Onyx and Crystal all had the thickest fur. I miss that. Not a bald spot among them. I loved running my fingers thru their fur. It was gorgeous for all 6 of them.

I have Healthy Paws. There is a huge variety in what you can choose for yearly deductible and percent repaid so the premium can vary greatly. I choose 90% coverage with $100 yearly deductible. And pay $97/month for 2 dogs. I have one currently with VPI. She's too old with too many previous things to move her now. So she is stuck with them. I would not recommend them at all. They go by a schedule which is so antiquated it's not worth it. They pay 80% of what they think the charge should be. So for a ligament surgery last year and gastritis hospital stay this year, they paid less than 40% total. Embrace and Trupanion are also very highly regarded on this board. I did end up comparing all three and choose Healthy Paws because I liked the per year deductible not the per incident deductible. There is also Pet Plan, ASPCA. I think there are others but I can't think of them at the moment.

okay. I just found fleas on my girls. 2 on Tanzi, one on Opal. This is the first time in owning greys I have fleas!!! So anyway, I have wood floors. I am frontlining the dogs (Tanzi got the last one yesterday, so I have to pick up new today) What should I do to the house?

He left a deep impression on your heart besides taking a chunk with him. He was a very handsome man. Godspeed Silver.

I'm glad they weren't that bad. My Opal developed sores under her splint and I was amazed and how fast they got worse in just a few days. Opal was switched to a soft cast but when that didn't even help, it was taken off and she did the last couple of weeks healing without any support. Luckily she held her leg up for most of that time.

She was way too young. It's hard enough to deal with the loss of a beloved family member, but at the young age of 7, you also feel cheated. You gave her a beautiful tribute.

Think of it this way, if you had something that painful would you want to wait?

"bright green"?! I can't imagine what would cause that color. It sounds like he got into something else, maybe toxic. I would take him to a vet. If you hadn't discribed the color I would wait like the others, but the color definitely scares me.

I'm so glad she's feeling better. Now's the hard part. Keeping her quiet now that she feels good!

My Tanzi is itching horrible and I had her on Benedril but it hardly touched the itch. How much Zyrtec do you give your grey? (I'm also in NJ)

will another set of xrays determine if the mets have decreased?
