The philosophy is that animals do not have souls therefore cannot go to heaven. If that's the case I don't want to go to heaven, I want to go where my furkids went. (I've lost 6 pets in 2 yrs)

My Pearl was diagnoses with myocytis and put on prednizone (really bad thing for hypertensive dogs, which she was). Turns out she had an abscess of the itty bitty upper back tooth. Have them check the back teeth really good.

Joel, I was watching her thread in H&M and was so saddened that she didn't make it.

I did an amp on a 12 yr old because she was still a 'young' vibrant girl. And she did great for 6 months until the cancer hit another leg. If Molly is a 'young' dog (not talking numbers, but spirit) then go for it. She'll have some wonderful days left.

Not what I wanted to hear.

I've lost three to that horrid disease.

Wow....SO promising. And I'm glad I'm just an hour from U of Penn. (I don't have any OS currently but it's nice to know I'm so close. I drove to OSU with my OS girl back in 2009)

Maya is in my prayers. I lost my first girl after diagnosed with protein losing enteropathy. Turned out that she had no liver left. She was just 5.

Even with her quirks, she was a very beautiful girl both inside and out. RIP sweet Raven.

Denise!!! Geesh you know I had to read the entire thread to see if Miami ate the keys. Reminded me of a commercial where the guy picked up his bulldog and used him to unlock and start the car to get him to the vet, because he did eat the key. Apparently it was a commercial for keyless entry and start. I guess you checked your coat pocket? And emptied your purse out completely. (I had a spare set of keys in my purse and when I left the primary set in the car, for the life of me I couldn't find them. It wasn't until I changed purses that I found them ... after calling a locksmith to open my car) Did you check dog beds? Maybe Miami did take them but not eat them.
