  1. NILIF and clicker training worked great for my sassy Zim who bit me twice.  She growled and bared her teeth till the day she passed but we managed to work it out.  Maybe suggest no small children in his next home.  Or is that with you??

Oh and I always had a muzzle any time we traveled vet visits ect.

  2. So Mac has been limping on & off for the 2 years I have had here.  Had full xrays and normal.  Last week she started again and low and behold I noticed a corn on her back paw.  I tried some of the things mention above.  Thera paw does not stay on,  she screams with the epsom salt and even to touch it she is in a lot of pain.  Went to a vet this morning who I trust 100% feels it is infected and wants to de bulk it.  She didn't say hulling but just surgery to remove it.  I don't feel like I have time to find a surgeon to perform the tendon release I doubt many vets are experienced with this (maybe I am wrong).   I'm going to move ahead with the surgery and then start to to seek out the tendon surgery.  Any thoughts.  She is on antibiotics, gaba and a NSAID.

  3. I so want to attend but my car is not dependable enough to make that long drive:blush I need someone to buy me some car decals.  My last pair broke with the ice on my car!!

We opted for palliative care …GABA and Metacam… and he was well medicated and seemingly pain free for several weeks. As winter raged on and the risk from a fall on snow covered / slippery footing and having the leg break increased, we decided to euthanize in mid February.

Exact same experience here.  winter in NE was too much for Lexi.  Lots of wendy hamburgers for sure.
