  2. What a sweet photo. We all love him, I think, 'though none of us as much as you do! He's our favorite Coon/GreyHound Jennifer
  3. Oh, sweetie Of course you're scared, but it sounds as if you did everything just right. Deep breath, cyber hugs to Henry, and let us know how he's doing when everything is calm again. Jennifer

How lucky our animal friends across the Bridge are, to have her there to love them Jennifer
  5. Run fast and free, dear Jupp Jennifer
  6. Could his birthday be sometime really really soon and we can go over to Cute & Funny and have a PARTAY like we just had for Otis? Let us know if we can do that for Brodie Dearest Beth, SweetPea and Brodie Jennifer
  7. It does take time and work, sweetie, to turn off that loop in your brain. I've been there, too, and I promise it will get better. You can and will soon have only the best BEST BEST memories of Otis in you; only the best. He knew you did all you could, and you did do all you could, and that will sink in with time. In the meantime, feel held and supported and understood in the loving hands of us, your friends, with the beautiful smiling face of Otis looking down and loving you. Jennifer

    Otis

Oh, Linda, oh NO! I am so so sorry, what a terrible shock ! My heart is breaking for you and Roo. I will so miss hearing from the Oaty man. Sweet Otis, run free across the Bridge until your Mommy sees you again Jennifer
  11. Poor Todd! That's something we North Americans won't face very often with our Greys; an OTTER attack Jennifer
  12. My Talica had runny poop all the time, for many months, and the only kibble that finally firmed her poop up was Nature's Variety Prairie-style kibble. It firmed up somewhat with home-cooked Dr. Fox's food ( http://tinyurl.com/3dscql ) as well, but the best poops were created with a combo of Nature's Variety in the morning and Dr. Fox's home-cooked food in the evening. Jennifer (good luck!)
  13. Oh, sweetie I wish I could help. I'm praying for health for Otis and peace for you and your household. Jennifer
  14. And I would ask you to post a pic of that for educational purposes Jennifer
  15. Oh dear, poor sweet Otis! It might be good to fax or call in those values from Booker's Mom to your new vet, just to be sure he has them, and I will hold Otis in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Jennifer
  16. I'm so sorry What a blessing for you and Allie that she could cross at home, what a WONDERFUL blessing. I have many beloved animal companions already across the Bridge; I'll tell them to welcome Allie and show her around . I hope she likes hedgehogs; they'll show her where the are. Warm hugs and , Jennifer
  17. Good news, EmilyAnne and Henry Jennifer
  18. Oh, EmilyAnne, please give Henry a gentle from the hedgegirls and me. I think I'd suggest the vet tomorrow regardless, so you can discuss a possible medication change. Is Henry wearing his cute jimjams tonight? Jennifer
  19. I've had to help more pets cross the Bridge than I would wish - (if only they lived exactly as long as we did ) and if a home euthanasia had been an option at any time, I would have gladly chosen that. No matter how wonderful visits to the vet are (and sometimes they are), they are still stressful and different and have funny noises and lots of people and animals and commotion ... I think it would be lovely for your sweetie to cross quietly in her own home, on her own bed, with only her loved ones and her doctor with her Jennifer in sympathy
  20. Thank you all for the articles and peroxide info; I have saved them in my dog health files. Jennifer
