    I used VPI which became Nationwide, since they were the only plan to cover exotics (hedgehogs) and was very happy with them. They have exclusions, such as routine spays, etc., and never reimbursed 100% of anything, but with every hedgehog covered. I always ended up getting reimbursed more than my annual fee, so it was always a win. This *might* be because all exotic care is very pricey; maybe the reimbursement wouldn't work out as well if the claims were smaller. But I was glad to have it! Jennie
