    Awwwww, that was one of the best nights of my life, sitting up with those 2, watching Lily shove Whiskey out of the big bed, taking them up the icy driveway every 2 hours all night long to potty, and watching Lily and Whiskey bond for life in such a new and scary situation. I'm forever grateful to have been part of it. I miss Lily and Whiskey every day. She was so LITTLE ... and got so BIG. Butt somehow I never thought of her leaving us behind. Rest well, my 2 houndie friends, you are so loved. Miss Jennie

    My sister's dog once came up to her holding up a paw and whining pitifully. On inspection, she found a large, black, slimy lump. ARGH, cancer, cut-off paw pad, what ?! She managed to loosen, then pry it off. Slug. We live in WA State, where the slugs are large and numerous. Miss Jennie

    I suspect Covid has put an end to the easy smuggling in this park. Yup. What a fabulous night that was. I had such fun with those 2. We walked up my icy driveway every half hour all night long to avoid accidents; Whiskey didn't need that, of course, and Lilly only pottied twice on the floor, but it's hardwood, so no problem. I miss Whiskey so very, very much. He was a Very Good Boy. And Lilly is a Very Good (BIG) Girl. Miss Jennie
