Hemangioma....Trolley has had several. She had one removed & sent to pathology to be sure. My Vet said they are very common in Greyhounds. Worst that can happen is that they get big & burst. Bloody mess!
Nevada always made the distinction. She was great with my indoor kitty & on the occasion that I let them outside (supervised) on the patio, Nevada would walk with Misha around the patio. It was very cute. BUT let any other cat venture into the yard.....they were fair game!
Here is another thought.....if he hit your Mom hard enough to cause a concussion, maybe he hurt himself too? And her patting his head hit a sore spot.....??
Trolley just recently had one removed & we sent it to pathology to be sure. Vet said that they will re-occur. Apparently pretty common in Greyhounds. She has since had futher ones & they disappear on their own. The Vet said that they will come & go and should not be an issue unless they get very large. Then it's really a matter of them rupturing & being bloody. To me they look like little black mushrooms....
I've tried making my own several times (4-5 times) using a dehydrator-not very good luck. Never came out looking as good as Sams Yams. I even tried using huge sweet potatos as they do....just not the same. I gave up...
Yes. Trolley is allowed on my empty bed, and only when invited when I'm in it. She has learned the "move" command very well. She's happy with the time she's allowed on the bed.
I'd think Cushings disease. My Nevada's first signs were ravenous appetite, increased water intake, weight gain & then she suddenly became incontinent while sleeping. Talk to your Vet & start treatment ASAP.
I've had Trolley for 2.5 years now & she is still a master shoe thief.....EVERY chance she gets! It's her one & only bad habit. I do admit that it makes me chuckle....
