Hi, I too remember you as Smurfette. Beautiful pups

We only adopted 1 broodie, Katie, but she was so laid back, independent and did things on her own time schedule She never caused any trouble, would wait patiently in line for her food and treats, but other than that, she was quite typical; loved ear rubs, belly rubs, sunshine, comfy pillows, other dogs and car rides. Sadly, we said goodbye on August 21, 2021, yet I wouldn’t hesitate to adopt another broodie because she was with us for 8 years.

Sadly, no. The border is still closed to vehicular traffic. I can fly to the US in an airplane full of strangers, but I can’t drive over with Dave in our car, even double vaccinated….just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

Thank you everyone. It doesn’t matter how old, how many or how long they lived with you, it still hurts like hell
