  1. Maybe you might want to introduce her to your neighbours...if they all have dogs, I imagine they may be very understanding.

     

    Why do you have her crated while you are home. Ben howled while he was in his crate when we first got him when we left the house. I simply got rid of the crate and he was fine. Although his foster parents said he loved his crate, it was obvious he didn't want any part of it. I'm not big on crating any way unless it is for their own protection so I can't offer an unbiased opinion on crates.

     

    Why don't you leave the crate door open...maybe she just needs to know you are near, and then start the alone training. It just might be too many new things going on at once so take things one step at a time.

     

    Why is she muzzled and leashed...a precaution for the cats?

     

    People have different opinions but I always found what's best for one grey may not be the best for others. It sounds like you have support from your adoption group.
