Tonight at work we did an operation on Carmello a very sick young pup, with lots of fluid in his belly. After he was opened we realized why he wouldnt eat. His stomach was the size of a football and hes only a little guy. He had a hole in his diaphram and all kinds of other things. His heart stopped 3 times and we brought him back, we were not going to lose him he'd been with us too long. While he was waking up and becoming more aware he picked up his head and looked at us at what seemed in agony and stopped breathing and his heart stopped. We did CPR for what seemed forever but he was gone. Someone rescued him off the street and he was such a cute little man, Will miss you little guy, run pain free with the big dogs. We cried when he left but his ear flew up and looked like he was flying through the breeze. We're so sorry Carmello we tried so hard. God Speed until we meet again.

Rocky (the Beagle): There is no need to teach an old dog new tricks. The old dog will teach the new dog old tricks. He also taught me the love of a dog and how one can be affected by it Winnie (my heart) : Made me realize my love for animals and gave me the drive to get through so much. She also influenced me to become a vet when Im out of highschool. I owe so much to her. She was a brood momma and she taught me there is always enough love for ONE more

Its been over a year since my precious Winnie Pooh crossed the bridge. She was my whole heart and got me through so many trying times in my life. Ill never forget the day she left me. I got out of my car onto the drive way to see my mom pull up and shake her head, I knew...I was going to take her 2 days later to give her the final gift of love, she wouldnt let me. Sometimes animals love you so much they dont want you to see them go this was her she was so strong my little angel. I kissed her nose goodbye when I left that day and told her I loved her, but It was a different goodbye I felt it. My grandmother said 10 minutes after I left she had a stroke. My mom took her to the vet where she asked if she could call me out of school I would be there in 5 minutes, but he said she was suffering. My mom couldnt have that, and neither would I have wanted that. She was gone. But now I can look back and smile through my tears she was 13 and 1 month and lived everyday as if she was 2. she smiled, she inspired, and I will conquer. She inspired me to become a vet, I will in her honor. ITs hard sometimes but I feel you here right now as I cry your here,I know you are you never let me cry in peace thanks YOur never far away from me I miss you I love you Until we meet again. MOM

Im so sorry. Rest peacefully Iberia. After reading your first post yesterday I went to work (Vets office) and we were having a bad day patient wise so we decided to say a prayer each person saying a dogs name I said his so someone was there watching over him. Again Im so sorry
