MandysMom
After my scare this weekend with Mandy, I did some searching for good reference documents on bloat and found this doc Bloat on the Irish Wolfhound Club of America Site. There were many docs out there, but I liked how this one was laid out and the level of detail included. I thought it might help others to have a referernce guide. Thanks again to the Greytalk community for the expressions of concern and get well wishes! Ms. Mandy is doing well. We are doing a follow-up exam and bloodwork on Friday, just to be sure. Batmom
One thing to note: With a narrow sighthound-type dog, what you may see is not so much distended stomach as dog looking bigger around the ribcage.
