We are set for cookies and treats and toys for the next few months (), and I'm looking forward to sampling the delicious spreads. I'm going to have to hide the chocolates from myself, trying to be better this year!

The blanket is soft, warm and comfy....I might share it with Snowfall.

Thanks for the biscuit mix and bone cookie cutter. I will make them this weekend. The oven mitt is so festive, I don't know if I'll use it, it's so pretty. I like the bath balls and soap too.

Snowfall loves the treats, and has left the room because I won't give her any more. She loves the toys too.

A personal delivery, very nice touch,
Even talked as bit about horses and such.

I enjoy the biscuits and like playing with the knot,
Mom loved the kitty sponge, sox and honey pot.

The chocolate looks yummy, and has yet to be eaten,
Mom says the blanket is soft and will keep the heat in.

to ask Palmettobug and Roman

(who I know are very tall)

if there are special treats they like

or some they won’t touch at all?

While putting on my green elf hat

and socks, all striped in red,

I wondered if the Galoot likes toys

or would he rather stay in bed

all tucked up with a cuddly bear

on which to lay his head?

If you can give to me a clue

of things that might be right for you

then off to Santa I can go,

slipping and sliding over snow

to say if tea you like to brew

or Roman needs soft treats to chew.

This missive’s taken time to write,

now it’s nearly bedtime tonight

so hat I’ll doff,

the socks come off,

back into bed I’ll jump

and hope I don’t land with a “thump”!

Amelia and the hoomans received our goodies!
Sorry for the delay… have been a bit under the weather and finally just opened the box!

So here we go……

The fudge and Andes candies are quite a treat! 
And Amelia says the Chicken Chips can’t be beat!

The opossum with squeak is her favorite toy,
Tail wagging as if to say OH BOY!

Quite a resemblance the tiny ornament dazzles on our tree,
Amelia looked and said oh that’s me!

My husband loves the homemade preserves,
He plowed snow today so I guess he deserves.

To be an elf is quite hard work,

Santa makes sure that we don’t shirk

and has sent me, Lucky

in a little trucky 🚚

to check what he can bring for you

when he comes down your chimney flue.

or do you give them a big biff,

pretend you caught it in the wood

and shake it like a houndie should?

the type of things you like to eat?

 I’m assuming that you’re allowed a treat 

of fruit or veggies, fish or meat?

And when it comes to fun or a toy

do you like to rough it like a boy?

Do you throw them up aloft

or snuggle down with something soft

while gentle breezes across you waft?

The breezes could be from your sisters

and may be strong enough to cause blisters

and human noses will assault 

but I will say that’s not my fault,

so to this rhyme I bring a halt!

Any answer you can send

will make this elf become your friend 

and stop this Robin’s constant cheep,

allowing me to get some sleep

when off to bed I softly creep.

It’s nearing Christmas, where’s the snow?

For Santa needs his sleigh to go

to Pennsylvania, where Amelia lives,

for her he’ll have some gifts to give.

But what? That’s what he needs to know,

what makes this girlie brightly glow

when a present she unwraps

(while David and Monica watch and clap).

Is it treats or is it toys

made just for girls that she enjoys?

Are there things she shouldn’t have?

A rumbly tum would be too bad

all across the holiday season,

what things for Amelia would be good,
