kick
Seems my grey (9 1/2) has developed acid reflux over the past few months (constant licking of the lips) and some spitting up. Her normal kibble also seemed to be causing her problems - boughts of diarreah. After visiting the vet a few times we've opted to try other options first as she is very much herself (active, energetic, hungry).

She is now on EVO (grain free) kibble and I am giving her peptic with her meals. No diarreah for 1 1/2 weeks. The last bout was only 24 hrs (vs 3 days). They are watching her kidneys as she has had traces of protien.

My question is considering all this and her age any suggestions on things to add to her diet and is it okay to keep her on the peptic long term?

Burpdog
I'd use zantac or tagamet long term.
