I have been having trouble with Tucker's poops for awhile now. He used to be on Precise Plus and then he just started to not do well anymore.
At last weekend's Pet Expo, there were lots of pet food vendors so I took some samples to take home and read all the ingredients and % of Protein and Fiber.
I decided to try Blue Seal Lamb & Rice. He is doing really good on it along with pumpkin and shredded beet pulp! I think I finally found a food to stick with. Best part is that it only costs $30 for 40#'s!

Sounds like the perfect food for Tucker! Nothing like firm poo's to make your mamma proud.

WooHoo! Congratulations.
(And where else except on GT would other people understand your excitement and cheer with you?)

Which Blue Seal do you have him on? Arty's not doing too well on the new formula Canidae and I was thinking of going back to one of the Blue Seal foods. Is it just the regular lamb and rice, or is it their natural/premium line?

It is lamb and rice the regular, not the organic. I think the organic and other foods are too rich for his sensitive tummy.

Is Blue Seal a feed store brand? I don't remember seeing it anywhere around here. I'm searching for poop nirvana for Zella as well.

Yes, where you can buy horse food. If you go to their website, there is a store locator.

It's a regional brand, available mainly in the North East. Up here, you can find it in farm/feed and hardware stores.

How long have you had Tucker? We've had Lego for a little over two months now and right around two weeks ago, his poohs became perfect.... can't believe I talk so much about poo now... I'm just hoping that Lego's poo stays perfect or at least close to it.

3 years. He just started not doing well on the richer foods about 8 months ago.
