So I bought this new tea tonight "Republic of Tea --
The ingredients are:
(all organic)
Rooibos, Milk Thistle, Indian Sarsaparilla, Dandelion, Chicory, Burdock, and Red Clover. I made some, and gave Ruler a couple of laps, but then worried that they would be toxic for him. Anyone have any experience?

Well, Milk Thistle and dandelion should be OK. Dunno about the rest.
I had some rooibos tea and thought it was nasty ... which means it's probably just the thing a dog would love!

It was the strangest thing. He was all over my tea! I had to push him away to get him out!

Maybe he wants to detox with me.

The only ingredient I am not sure of is the Rooibos. The rest, especially a tea (you aren't feeding him the dry herbs themselves) - is safe. I've used many of those dried herbs in Gmans food for everything from bad breath, to dry skin, to upset tummy...

I have a box of Yogi Detox in the cabinet I've never opened. It seemed like a good idea at the time, then I was afraid it would taste icky.
It has sarsparilla ,cinnamon licorice, ginger, burdock, dandylion and caradmom, juniper and honeysuckle as well as others things. I'll try it tonight and let you know....

I'm pretty sure all the other things are okay, but had to look up rooibos and learned something, it is what is called "Redbush" tea over here, and it seems pretty good.
btw. I was drinking a cup of earl grey at Ben's house earlier and his boy Niles was very interested in it, but when I poured a little into his food bowl he wasn't so impressed, Miss Sadi loved it though

heh. Isnt it strange what they take a liking to?!
I had Lemon Rooibos tea once that tasted far too close to what Lemon Pledge smells like. *gag*
